Lancôme’s Creative Director of Makeup, Lisa Eldridge, shares her latest product picks, application tips and expert tricks.
“My makeup philosophy has always been ‘keep it simple!’ Bear that in mind and you’ll never go wrong, no matter what color you go for. For a simple smokey eye, I like to use a deep purple-colored shadow across the entire eyelid, right out to the outer corners. Then, I go for darker grey for the creases, lower lashline and the outer corners to increase smokiness and blend color. Finally, to complete the look I apply a hint of black along the upper lashline before finishing up with several coats of mascara for added drama.”
